Band Instrument Storage Room • Taylor Middle School

The Millbrae Elementary School District asked D&D Learning Spaces to do a comprehensive renovation of the band instrument storage room at Taylor Middle School. The school faced an issue where the students did not have a safe, secure and out of the way location to store their band equipment and instruments as well as a location to keep and inventory their District owned instruments.  D&D worked with the school district, the on site team and the music department to fully renovate the room.  The School District physically remodeled, re-carpeted and painted the space and D&D designed and specified all of the product using Wisconsin Bench Rhapsody instrument storage for the space.  Using the PEPPM Piggyback Contract, the School District purchased the product and D&D’s installation team received the product at the school site after hours and installed the complete space before school resumed the following day.  Students and staff left seeing the room as below (bare walls and floor) and returned the following morning to the completed space. D&D, using it’s Contractor License, were able to legally fasten all items to the wall for safety and provide a student ready space, safe and secure for use.
