The Audio Production Studio at Centennial High School was designed by Compton Unified School District CTE Director,
Dr. Silke Bradford as D&D Learning Spaces “crafted her vision” for the project with a monochromatic interior design.
This project included the same basic design at two other schools in Compton USD-
Dominguez High School and Roosevelt Middle School.
All three Audio Production Studios included the following furniture and technology for 34 students:
- 4′ x 8′ Whisper Room Sound Isolation Booth with double insulated walls
- 10 – WB 24″ x 60″ flip and nest tables
- 8 – WB 24″ x 48″ half-round flip and nest tables
- 34 – Paragon Four legged chairs w/casters
- 1 – Teacher Mobile Presentation Station and Task Stool
- 2 – National Office Swift Soft Seating Lounge Chairs with Casters
- 1 – National Office Whimsy Round Stool 22″ with casters
- 1 – National Office Whimsy Trapezoid Stool 22″ with casters
- 2 Bretford Portable Charging Systems AC and USB ports
D&D professional contractor work included:
- Rectangular Wall Sound proofing panels –
(*Ceiling installed Wave Baffles and cylinder drop down lights at Centennial HS.) - Commerical Carpet Tiles 18″ x 36″
- Electrical outlets upgrade and electrical circuit breaker upgrade
- Walls and ceiling panels painted
