In response to the growing demand for flexible, home-based learning solutions, Oroville City Elementary School District created a program that integrates the advantages of both public school resources and the autonomy of homeschooling. The North State Virtual Academy aims to provide public school resources to homeschooling families. This empowers parents to retain significant oversight of curriculum, peer interactions, and the overall learning environment.
D&D Learning Spaces was tasked by the Academy’s Principal to create an onsite facility hub, including:
1. Onsite classroom;
2. Virtual workstations for 4 teachers and administrator, including: electric sit to stand desks, storage cabinets, and privacy partitions;
3. Reception area and desk;
4. Center staff lounge and office space; and,
5. Conference room.
