Project Description
“The Collab,” at Mark Twain Elementary School in Corcoran, CA is an unique learning environment using “huddle style” furniture and technology for students to work in collaborative groups and develop projects. These teaming tables are flip and nest that can be used with the interactive Promethean panels on mobile stands. All the furniture and technology is mobile and modular. For example, the two half circle tables can be brought together to form a circle table.
This room also features cloud shaped tables and soft furniture with casters to quickly reconfigure the furniture for the learning activity needed. This space can also be used for various school meetings such as teacher professional learning and parent meetings.
