Project Description

The Compton High School 2D Art teaches the principles of composition and elements of design, through drawing, painting, printmaking, and design techniques. Students will acquire a variety of skills/techniques and knowledge in a variety of media and disciplines: painting, watercolor, tempera, drawing, charcoal, pencils, pen/ink and printmaking.

The 3D Art Studio provides space for individual, small and large group art instruction and exploration to include various ceramics, sculpture, hand building and wheel throwing, glazing and firing demonstrations, clay processing, lectures, text studies, design, and testing.
